Katherine Harlan Bolding, DDS

Dr. Katherine Harlan Bolding grew up in Columbia, Tennessee. She graduated from Columbia Central High School and then attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. After college, she attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2022. Following dental school, she worked at a children’s dental office in Mississippi for a year before completing a pediatric dental residency in Pittsburg, Kansas. Dr. Katherine is thrilled to be back in her hometown and is now a pediatric dentist in the practice, where she saw our own Dr. Heather Owens as a patient until she left for college.
Dr. Katherine is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Tennessee Dental Association. Dr. Katherine completed two years of extensive research focused on the treatment of tongue- and lip-ties with lasers. To further her expertise, she attended Tongue Tied Academy for advanced training in diagnosing and treating tethered oral tissues. She is also a proud member of the American Laser Study Club, where she continues to stay at the forefront of evidence-based care for children and families.
Her husband, Dr. Beau Bolding, is a general dentist and also works in Columbia, Tennessee. They met in college and went to dental school together. They have two cats, Pumpkin and Nibbles.
